Welcome to Heart Gallery North Florida, a traveling, museum-quality exhibit featuring portraits of children in the big bend’s foster care system who are available for adoption.

This site is dedicated to increasing awareness of the foster care children located in a 12-county area in North Florida who are in need of permanent homes. The individuality and spirit of the children were captured by top photographers, who generously donated their time and talent.

With your help, we can reach our goal of finding homes for all of North Florida’s foster children who are eligible for adoption. Whether you're interested in adopting, fostering or volunteering, Heart Gallery North Florida is a photographic journey with links to resources filled with all the information you need to make an informed decision.

The Heart Gallery was recently exhibited at the Governor's Mansion for a local foster and adoption event. Gov. Rick Scott hosted the event. He is pictured here with Marshall, featured in Heart Gallery North Florida.

On May 3, 2011 the Florida Association of Heart Galleries (FLAHG) will hold a press conference and launch reception on the 22nd Floor of the Capitol. The 11:00 a.m. press conference and 11:30 a.m. reception will officially open the Heart Galleries of Florida, a collaborative exhibit featuring portraits of Florida children in foster care available for adoption. Please join the association in celebrating these beautiful children who are waiting for their forever family.

If you would like to help children find homes, help the Heart Gallery

Donate your time
Heart Gallery North Florida can use volunteers at community events. In addition, there are several community-based organizations in this area that could use help from qualified adults that are willing to make a committment and help the children.

Make a Financial Donation
Heart Gallery North Florida needs support from individuals and businesses to fund the costs of producing and promoting the Heart Gallery. For each $100 that is donated, we are able to add another child to the gallery and pay for mounting costs. If you are an individual and would like to donate money, or if you are a business and can donate money or an in-kind service, please contact us.

The HEART GALLERY needs a new display that will make it easier for us to dislpay children and also less expensive to print and change out portraits. Please help us raise the funds we need!
